Better, though I agree with Ailein that it's angled a little too far, I'd aim it more at the ground. I'd also space the from legs apart, with one angled back a touch, and the other angled towards the front.
And maybe tucking the leg in and drooping the wings will help bring out the emotion. o3o If you need any redlines, or a sketch of what I'm suggesting, I'd be happy to oblige. c:
