That's a horrible attitude to have towards critique, Tiffashy. :c Believe me, an artist unwilling to take critique is going to create drama and just stain the community. It's better to be polite about them, even if you have no plans to take them into consideration.

Personally, I think it looks great the way it is, and the colors on a redo don't need to be exactly the same as the original.

I quite like the newer one, I don't really want the re-dos straying too far away from the original dragon design. Sure, they can change, but not too much.

The second one looks too bright, that pink just doesn't like something that would occur in nature, except maybe on a fish in a tropical reef or something. But on a dragon, the first one looks much better.

Thios dragon is marked out as mischeivious, it's one of the fairy dragon trademarks. THink of poison dart frogs. They're bright ebcause they have deadly poison. Fairy dragons are bright, partly to trick animals into thinking they have poison.

I'm fine with people re-doing sprites so they look better, but completely re-doing them isn't really what this was for. Certain things need to stay the same. The fairy has already lost the really bright colours it had before. There are a few things on this sprite which the old fairy had that this one doesn't, but I'm putting them off as it is a lovely sprite. This thread isn't for complete re-designs.

Use what you wish.
